Аннотация

The article is on the issue of expectations in monologue and dialogic communication. The features of dialogic and monologue interactions are being compared according to their impact on the formation of the “meanings for oneself” and the “meanings for others”. The realization of these “meanings” at different stages of communication is being examined, including perception, interaction and integration. The article dwells on the role of the game in the formation of the expectations and their development during the interaction; the performance and competition as its components are being analysed. Central for the analysis are the paradoxes and trends of the dialogic and monologue interactions at different levels and stages of communication. The great potential of dialogic communication is emphasized; not only is it directed at the solving of the problems, but also at the development of the subjects, transformation of the subjects’ life activities even beyond expectations.
