Аннотация

The psychology students’ beliefs about the social expectations of secondary school teachers and students are considered a group phenomenon in this article. This approach makes it possible to reveal the diversification of the educational process representations under the conditions of the progressive reformation of its organization and content presently taking place in Russia. The findings characterize the psychology students’ beliefs about the social expectations of secondary school students and teachers as widespread, stable, falling under “subject-object” social interaction scheme with each participant having his/her special role. The subject position is attributed to the teacher, whereas secondary school students in both types of the investigated beliefs are represented as passive objects of influence.
