Аннотация

Changes in the family institution and its stability are interrelated with the emerging role conflict, which proves the importance of studying the problems of gender expectations and their realization. The growth of differentiation and individualization of roles entails the reformatting of the usual family frame and the redesign of male roles in the family. The object of the study is mutual role expectations of spouses in registered and unregistered marriages. The research subject is match / mismatch of role expectations of couples. The paper offers the analysis of empirical data to determine the expectations of the male role-set in the family and the possible conflicts.
