Abstract

The paper contains the description of the consequences for educational system and practice that arise from overly-high or false expectations for giftedness. The dangers of simplistic, one-sided approach to the pedagogical aspects of giftedness are outlined. The possibilities of methodological support of gifted students on the basis of complex modernization of the whole of education system are studied.
